DESIGN

Leveling 20+ | Seasonal PvP | Solo Exp Grind | Low Tier Tank

This build is designed for the Seasonal PvP realm. Built for PvP this build has a high health pool with relatively high damage. During early levels, the common type of builds generally are Cat Builds or Melee Windfury Builds, this build counters both with a shield, blocking damage and hitting hard back with Revenge.

INTRODUCTION

With the introduction of Seasonal PvP Realms, creating a build that is ment for early pvp while being able to solo exp grind is ideal. This build takes a look at the common early builds used for both PvP and PvE which involves Cat builds with frostbrand and 2Handed Sinister Strike builds with windfury, and countering them with the "Venge Cleave" build - using Shield Block and striking back hard with Revenge and Cleave.

RANDOM ENCHANTS

During early levels, random enchants are hard to obtain and not needed but they will help if you manage to get the ones that will support the build. At level 60, you should then focus on getting the proper random enchants for best preformance.

LETS TALK ABOUT STATS

For leveling, you can focus on offensive stats such as Strength or agility, you can allocate all into Strength. However, if you plan on PvPing or in areas that involve a lot of pvp action, you best option is to allocate all into stamina. Priority stat will look weird and tricky depending on what you are doing.

Priority Stats: Strength > Agility > Crit Rating > Stamina (Solo Leveling) Priority Stats: Stamina > Strength > Crit Rating > Spell Power (Under Level 50 PvP) Priority Stats: Stamina > Agility > Strength > Crit Rating (Low Tier Tanking) Priority Stats: Stamina > Spell Power > Strength > Intellect > Crit Rating (Over Level 50 PVP)

GEARING UP

Gear helps a lot as many melee build require good items. To gear up, look towards Mail Armor while under level 40 and Plate Armor above level 40. For stats, look at the stat section above to fiqure out what is your priority stat.

At level 60, you would like to wear Paladin set gear, either Judgement Set or PvP Set.

WEAPON

For your weapons, you would need to use a 1-Handed Weapon and a Shield. A shield is required for your Protection warrior abilities such as Shield Block or Shield Wall, and for your Avenger's Shield. For the 1-Handed Weapon, you a slow attack speed weapon with high base damage.

ABILITIES

At higher levels the build focuses more on PvP related abilities such as CC and CC breaks, and some defensives cool downs.
